Hi my name is Bethany, I am nearly 10 years old. I was diagnosed in October 1999 just as I turned 5, so I have had diabetes half my life now. I still have trouble controlling my blood sugars because my mum says that I am growing all the time. I now only inject twice a day, this has just changed from three times and I test my blood sugar 4 times a day.

I live in Lancing, West Sussex which is down in the south coast in Great Britain.

I love all sports but my all time favorite is dancing. I compete in freestyle and streetdance.

I have one sister and one brother both younger then me.
