Hello, my name is Noah and I am seven years old. I have had diabetes since I was 5. When I was first diagnosed I had to spend the night with my parents at Children's Hospital in D.C. When I first found out I had diabetes I was scared. The next day I played a lot of Game Boy while my parents were in class to take care of me. When I got home I was really tired from being woke up every hour the night before. After a while it got better and felt more like normal. I play soccer and hockey and now do karate three times a week. I wish I did not have diabetes but all I can do is take good care of myself and listen to my doctors and my parents. I go to a small school and there aren't really any kids I know with diabetes. I would love to get an email from some kids who are going through the same thing I am.
