My name is Eli and I have diabetes. I was diagnosed in 2000, when I was only 14 months old. I am now 5 years old. I just started Kindergarten. I have an aide in my class to help me test my blood sugars at school. My family "walks for the cure" every year to raise money for JDRF. Our Team name is "Team Eli". In 4 years of walking, my team has raised over $65,000 to go toward research to find the cure for diabetes! My Gege and Papa work really hard to raise all the money. I love them both so much!
