My name is Shane. I am 11 years old and have had diabetes for a year. I don't like testing my blood or taking my shots. I really don't like needles, but I have learned how to give myself shots and it's not so bad. I am hoping to start on the pump soon. I like to play XBOX, especially the game Halo, and I like to play with my friends. I play football and my team is in the playoffs right now. I like to draw. I hope they find a cure for diabetes someday. I would like to hear from other kids that have diabetes.
