I'm Jack from California. I'm almost 8 years old. I got type 1 at the end of kindergarten. I live in a rural part of southern California and there are no other kids with diabetes in my school except me. I want to get a pump. My parents said that we will try to get one this summer. I like PlayStation2 - Crash Bandicoot, Shrek2, Sly Cooper and Spongebob games. I also like to swim, ride bikes, play soccer, basketball and play board games. I do my own testing, but my parents still do my shots. I am sick of diabetes and wish they would hurry up with a cure. I went to diabetes camp one summer and it was fun but a long drive to get there.
