Hey, my name's Lisa. My Chinese friends call me Shiyi. I live in China.
Now I'm 14 years old. I was diagnosed in 2000 when I was 8 years old. At that time, I often felt thirsty, hungry and used the bathroom several times a day. So my mom asked me to see the doctor. When mom got the result, she cried. I don't know what had happened. I was a little frightened. When I was 9, I began to take shots. I took shots 4 times a day. I still do it till now. My parents intend to give me a pump. I think it will be useful.
I love painting very much. I also love playing badminton. Do you love painting?
I live in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province. It's in north China. In winter it's very cold here. Snow is here and there. We can make snowmen and ski in snow. We also can stake on ice. So fun. I love my hometown.
I have a few friends, but I want more. I love to make new friends who have diabetes. I'd like to talk with you. You can email me at
yingkongshichaoya AT sina.com. You can also add me on MSN. My MSN address is as same as my email address. I hope to hear from you soon.
