My name is May Tharaphi. I am 11 years old and I live in Myanmar (Burma). I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes while I was in Bangkok for check up for Thalassemia. That time I was so weak and first they thought it was just because of fever. Now my mother is checking my blood sugar and giving me two shots a day. I am in 6th Grade. I am living in Myanmar.
