Hi I'm Damien. I am 8 years old and I just learned that I have diabetes on October 13, 2008. I am kinda scared of these shots and pokes. I can't do those by myself so mom does them.

I like lots of stuff like: soccer, swimming, flag football, video games like Sonic, Crash, Halo, Dragonballz and Pokemon. I really like Dragons and my animals. I have one dog and five cats.

Nobody I know has diabetes except big people and they don't understand. I would like a friend to be a penpal with. My mom and I think kids can teach kids stuff on how not to be so scared.
