Hi. I am Cayden, I am 4 years old, I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 2. My dad also has diabetes, he has had it since he was 6 months old. Luckily my Mom and Dad recoginzed the symptoms and got me to the hospital. I spent 4 days in the hospital before they let me go home. I took 4 shots a day for the first year of having Diabetes and since I have started on a Insulin Pump. I am using the Animas Ping. Life with diabetes stinks sometimes but I don't let it get the best of me. I am playing T-ball this year and when I get older I am going to be a rodeo star!
