Hi! My name is Hailey and I was diagnosed on October 31, 2007, when I was 10. Now I'm 13. My teachers noticed how skinny and pale I was, and how much I was drinking and going to the bathroom. They recommended that I go to the doctor, so I did. After many tests, they thought I had leukemia, but after the blood sugar meter wouldn't read my sugar (it was too high to read), they diagnosed me with type 1 diabetes. In my spare time I love to read, play volleyball, swim, goof around with my best friend Kelly, and watch TV (CSI and NCIS are my favorites). I love to meet new people so email me at .
