My name is Jackson. I am 10 years old. I was diagnosed January 7, 2010 with type 1 diabetes. I was 9 at the time. My mom noticed that I was drinking alot and peeing a lot. I was even hiding water bottles in my bed. So she took me to the hospital and they did a finger prick and my sugar was 593. I spent four days in the hospital. I get really frustrated and angry sometimes with the diabetes, but I'm getting the pump next week and my mom says it will be much easier. You can email my mom at Published December 21, 2010
