Hi. My name is Caitlin and I'm 14. I've been diabetic since I was six. It was pretty scary when it happened and I hated having needles and being hungry all the time, but I got an insulin pump when i was 7 and it made everything so much better. My mom wrote a book kind of about me when I was in the hospital called "Libby Louanne and the Amazing Hospital Mystery!" It's cool and it made me feel kinda like I wasn't such an alien anymore, because there are other kids who are diabetic too.
