Museums and Educational Sites
- Adam Software makes multimedia software that teaches human anatomy. Visit their on-line site and learn about their products, as well as see some detailed drawings of human anatomy.
- Basics of Space Flight will help teach budding young astronauts and space scientists the same information taught to new workers at Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
- The Butterfly Zone has some awesome pictures of butterflies as well as everything you wanted to know about how to attract them to your yard.
- The Discovery Channel On-Line has a list of upcoming television programs, as well as lots of fun stuff. Be warned: you'll need a high-speed modem (14.4 or better) so you won't have to wait for all the graphics and Netscape or other late-model browser to display the tables.
- The Electronic Zoo is the best source of information about animals on the Internet. With hundreds -- if not thousands -- of links to animal pictures and information, you could spend hours and never see it all.
- The Geometry Forum will help you gain a better understanding of geometry, and maybe even a better grade.
- Great White Sharks await those who dare visit this site!
- The Internet Public Library is just the place to find the perfect virtual book or look up that last bit of information for your report. Younger kids will enjoy Doctor Internet, who will them explore science and math using the Internet.
- Kids on Campus, produced by Cornel University, has some interesting science links.
- The Leonardo da Vinci Museum pays tribute to a great painter, designer, scientist, futurist and thinker.
- The Learning Studio is part of San Francisco's Exploratorium. Lots of interesting pages. You might even learn something! Updated frequently, so visit often.
- Can't find a book you need? Check out the Library of Congress.
- Take a tour of the National Air and Space Museum. You'll see the Apollo 11 command module, an X-15, and even a moon rock!
- Newton's Apple Educational Materials has great information from Newton's Apple, the Public Television series.
- Tour Ocean Planet, an exhibition at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. They have a map of the exhibit and pictures of everything on display.
- Voyage into outer space at NASA's The Planets, and see amazing pictures of our planets and some of the space ships we've sent to explore them. Younger kids should also visit NASA's Star Child Project, which has lots of really neat pictures from space.
- Rainforest Action Network is dedicated to preserving our planet's rainforests. Visit their site and learn about why rainforests are so important and what you can do to help preserve them. Plus, there's lots of great pictures and movies of animals that live in the rainforest.
- Visit Reading Rainbow, the PBS television show that emphasizes reading. Although there aren't any pictures, there is a list of each book that is used in the series.
- Use the SatPasses Home Page to figure out when to go outside and see the Space Shuttle, the Mir Space Station, and other satellites as they orbit above your home.
- Time for Kids helps kids keep current on world events.
- Volcano World brings the thunder and lava of volcanoes right to your computer. With satellite images and the remote sensing data, you too can be a vulcanologist.
- Weather Watchers will want to visit the Weather Information Superhighway, a service of the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, Florida. With more weather pointers than your grandfather, this is the place to start on your quest for the best weather information.
- The White House is open everyday for a virtual tour. Come see where the President lives and works. You can hear a message from the President and even send him a message!
- The Yuckiest Site on the Internet will teach you everything you (n)ever wanted to know about cockroaches! Click on parts of a cockroach body to learn how it works, and see neat roaches from around the world.
- Zoo Net contains information about zoos from around the world, links to other zoos with on-line sites, and great animal pictures.

Vacation Sites
- Marine World Africa USA is home to sharks, killer whales, dolphins, seals and sea lions, as well as hundreds of other animals. Located just north of San Francisco, California.
- The National Zoo in Washington, D.C., is home to America's first Giant Pandas.
- When you're in Southern California, be sure to visit Disneyland.
- Sea World has lots of neat stuff about marine animals like whales and dolphins.
- Visit Walt Disney World and plan your dream vacation. Be sure to plan enough time to see all the parks.
- If you're going to Atlanta for the 1996 Summer Games, be sure to visit Zoo Atlanta. And stop by their web site for movies and sounds of animals.

Just Plain Fun
- Beuna Vista Movie Plex showcases the latest movies from Walt Disney. Come by to see what's playing in your neighborhood today.
- The Butterfly WebSite is the home to prominent butterfly expert Rick Mikula. You'll find lots of pictures and interesting facts about butterflies. There's even a store with things to help you attract butterflies to your house.
- Cat lovers will find everything they ever wanted to know about cats within the pages of the rec.pets.cats Frequently Asked Questions, including a discussion of feline diabetes.
- CyberKids is an electronic magazine for kids. There are stories, pictures, and even free fonts!
- E-Mail Pen Pals for Kids includes a list of kids (and parents) who'd like to exchange e-mail with other kids.
- Fish Information Service (FINS) is a great place to visit if you like aquariums. They have pictures and movies of aquariums, as well as everything you ever wanted to know about fish. They even have a page about fish diseases.
