Back Home Mouse Feeding with Infusion Tubing
Photo

A mouse decided to build a nest in the engine of our lawn tractor. Unfortunately the mother mouse didn't survive my husband starting the tractor to mow the lawn, which left two orphaned babies. Their eyes were still closed and they were nursing. We couldn't find anything small enough to feed them. We tried an eye dropper, and a infant medicine syringe. So the kids decided to try filling an infusion set with formula. The mice have learned to drink out of the cannula. They must be doing ok because we have managed to keep them alive since the weekend. Their eyes opened this morning and they are starting to eat other foods.
