		Lynn Gallien My name is Melody, and I'm 6 years old. I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 2, in 2001. I live in California and am in first grade. I take karate lessons three times a week ,and swim every day that is warm enough! My favorite thing to do is play outside with the other kids in the neighborhood, and love to ride my bike. When I grow up I plan to be a doctor to "take away" diabetes. My family will help me to reach my goal. Lynn Gallien, Melody's mom
		Russ, Diana, Nick and Alex Gennaro Nick is 8 years old and was dx'd just before his 2nd birthday. He's always been such a trooper and as of August 2005 is now pumping. Nick enjoys playing video games, swimming, and entertaining his little brother, Alex. Diabetes plays a huge role in our familiy's life ... it however has not taken over. 		The Grants Sarah, Chris, Christopher and Senie Senie was diagnosed September 26, 2005 at age four; dad Chris is also a Type 1 diabetic, diagnosed in 1999. Senie enjoys life to the fullest, loves all things girly, and her best buddy is her older brother Christopher. Her exuberance for life is contagious and her personality is simply enchanting. A rare beauty inside and out. The kids share a love of computers and monkey business. Senie also enjoys gymnastics and Christopher loves karate. We relocated to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida from the DC Metro area just before Senie was diagnosed. Any family close to us, feel free to drop us a line! We’d love to meet you! CWD, what a difference you made, after three sleepless nights post diagnosis, Google and dumb luck brought us here and your kindness, support, comfort and wisdom have kept us here. 		John, Kate, Emily and Annie Griswold This photo is from our Nov. 99 Disney cruise. John and I look pretty much the same, but the kids have grown some. This is approx. 20 months prior to Emily's diagnosis. I (Kate) joined the list in August, after returning home from the hospital stay following Em's dx. The list has been an incredible source of information for me, and support. I am so grateful that I found it so early. I very much appreciate the new friends I have made on this list. I hope someday soon to celebrate with them about a CURE! I hope the list will remain, but the name will change to parents@childrencuredofdiabetes!
