		Julia Ringwalt Heather, now age 12, was diagnosed Aug. 8, 2004, after returning from a month in New York City where she was studying ballet at the Joffrey's summer intensive. She is still very active in dance, church and school, and is looking forward to the day when she can pump (has to get out of brace for treating scoliosis, first) and no longer use the H and NPH daily. We live in Newport Beach, CA, and discovered this site through Internet searches. She just received Ruby yesterday, and loves her new friend.
