		The Seley family Alice aged 10 with her aradigm 522 (and a rather splendid snake). Mum Amanda has 3 other children. Charlotte 14, Eliza aged 8 and Albert aged 6 and partner Gordon. They live in the West Midlands.
		The Smith family From left to right: George (7) Arnie (6) Jane, and Edward (3). Edward is the one with who has diabetes, diagnosed in 2004 and now has an insulin pump.
		The Stevens family Rachael, 7 and Luke 5. Rachael was diagnosed with diabetes in November 2005 at the age of 6. After 6 months on Mixtard 30 we all moved to Levemir and Novorapid in May 2006. She is a real superstar and does her own injections if she feels like it and generally takes control of her diabetes at school. Rachael enjoys swimming, Girl's Brigade, dancing and horse riding. Luke is very supportive of Rachael and will tell her to test herself and 'don't forget your injection, Rachael' if he is being particularly helpful.
