How many times per year do you or your child have an HbA1c test done?

Poll dates: December 6 - 13, 1998
Total Votes: 579

The HbA1c test provides a rough measure of blood sugar control for the past three months. As such, an HbA1c test performed every three months -- four times per year -- provides insight into your overall control. Many studies have shown that the lower the HbA1c level, the lower the risk for certain complications. Most people (70%) have an HbA1c test done four times a year or more.
