Poll dates: April 18 - 25, 1999 Total Votes: 347 Successful management of diabetes is as much about information as it is about insulin and blood tests. The Children with Diabetes web site tries to provide you with information that will help you care for your child's diabetes -- or your diabetes. To help determine if we were achieving our goal, we asked readers if using the web site had helped them prepare better for visits to their diabetes team. 59% said using the web site had helped them become considerably better prepared, with another 17% saying they were slightly better prepared. Thus over 75% of visitors feel that the Children with Diabetes web site is helping them. [Return to the current poll]
