What lancets do you or your child use? Poll dates: August 29 - September 5, 1999 Total Votes: 751 Frequent blood glucose testing has been shown to improve overall blood glucose control. To make frequent testing as painless as possible, it's important to use a lancing device and lancet that are designed for you. Kids need a very different lancet than adults with callused fingers. Almost half our visitors report using the B-D Ultra Fine lancet. The next most popular lancet is the Softclix. Both of these lancets are designed to be as painless as possible.
