How often do you or your child see your diabetes team?

Poll dates: January 16 - 23, 2000

The American Diabetes Association recommends that everyone with diabetes visit their diabetes team every three to four months. At each visit, you should have an HbA1c test to measure your long-term blood glucose levels. You can also take the opportunity to meet with a dietitian and diabetes nurse educator to review your diabetes care.

For more information, see Standards of Clinical Care.
