What do you think of the new US stamp promoting diabetes awareness? Poll dates: November 19 - 26, 2000 Total Votes: 709 On October 23, 2000, the US Postal Service announced a new stamp highlighting diabetes awareness. "We believe this stamp will go a long way in helping spread the word about how important it is for everyone to know about this devastating disease," said Postmaster General William J. Henderson. "The Postal Service is proud to continue its tradition as a community leader in highlighting health and social issues." The stamp, shown to the left, contains the text "Know More About Diabetes."
