Do you or your child reuse lancets or syringes? Poll dates: May 20 - 27, 2001 Total Votes: 906 Given the cost of diabetes supplies, many people find that reusing lancets and syringes makes sense. Over half (54%) of our respondents reuse just lancets. 13% report reusing both lancets and syringes. Only 1% report reusing syringes but not lancets. Some people (4%) reuse lancets or syringes on occasion. You can safely reuse lancets and syringes if you follow the guidelines outlined in Reuse Your Syringes and Lancets.
