Total Votes: 906Glucagon is used to treat severe hypoglycemia when the patient is unconscious or unresponsive. Everyone who uses insulin should have glucagon on hand and know how to use it. While most people have never needed to use glucagon, those who have are no doubt thankful that they had it.
