How many different brands or models of blood glucose meters do you regularly use?Poll dates: February 17 - 24, 2002
Total Votes: 816
The latest generation of blood glucose meters require tiny amounts of blood, produce results in just seconds, store a hundred or more results in memory, and easily fit in the palm of your hand. Even with all these features, some people find that one meter isn't enough for them. Sometimes people keep one meter at home and carry another while they're out and about, or have a different meter at school or work.
We've run this poll for the past three years and the results are pretty consistent: most people use just one meter, about one-fourth use two, and a few people use three or four meters. The trend is toward more people using just one meter.
