What blood test meter do you or your child use most often?
Poll dates: April 27 - May 4, 2003
Total Votes: 965There are many good blood glucose meters to choose from. In the past several years, we've seen people changing to meters that take smaller and smaller amounts of blood and which produce results in fewer and fewer seconds. We've also seen the number of people using photometric meters (e.g., the OneTouch Profile) drop to almost none. Today, among our readers, LifeScan's OneTouch Ultra and TheraSense's Freestyle are the top two meters.
If you're thinking about getting a new meter, review the features of the various meters to find one that best meets your needs.
The table below compares results of last week's poll with similar polls run in previous years.
