For insulin pump users, how often do you usually change your infusion set?

Poll dates: July 27 - August 3, 2003
Total Votes: 444

Insulin pump users must change their infusion sets periodically to prevent infection and the build up of scar tissue at the infusion site. Just over half our readers report changing their sets every three days. One quarter report changing their set every two days.

Changing your infusion set more often reduces the risk of scar tissue build up, but also costs more money.
