For insulin pump users, how often do you usually change your infusion set?
Poll dates: March 30 - April 6, 2008
Total Votes: 460Insulin pump users must change their infusion sets periodically to prevent infection and the build up of scar tissue at the infusion site. Almost 79% of our readers report changing their sets every three days -- an increase from last year.
Changing your infusion set more often is essential to reduce the risk of scar tissue build up, but it does cost more money.
