Have recent economic problems impacted your ability to pay for diabetes care and supplies? Poll dates: October 15 - 22, 2008 Total Votes: 344 As readers around the world know, the past several weeks have seen dramatic declines in financial markets, which are impacting families everywhere. Diabetes supplies can be expensive, even with insurance coverage, and we wanted to know if our readers were experiencing difficulty as a result of these recent economic problems. Based on this poll, about one in four (24%) of readers are impacted already. Just under 40% are not impacted yet but are worried. If you are experiencing difficulty paying for your diabetes care supplies, discuss your situation with your diabetes team. They may be able to offer suggestions to help. [Return to the current poll]
