What are your kids' plans for Halloween?

Poll dates: October 19 - 26, 2011
Total Votes: 140

With almost all CWD kids using an insulin pump or basal bolus MDI, it's easier than ever to include candy and other treats in a meal plan. And 66% of our readers report doing just that -- letting their kids collect candy and eating it by integrating the carbs into their meal plan.

Since having diabetes can make kids feel isolated and alone, being able to participate in holidays and festivities is very important. Insulin pump therapy or multiple daily injections, along with frequent blood glucose monitoring, can help our kids enjoy Halloween, as well as other holidays.

The table below compares results of last week's poll with the same poll run over the past several years.
