July 12, 2004 Ruby just arrived! My mom, two sisters, two swim coaches, and I are all here (my house) for lunch. We're having pizza! I'm glad Ruby likes pizza. I should probably tell you about myself before I keep writing. Name: Meagan Berry Age: 13 Diagnosed: March 8, 2004 Hometown: Havetown, Pennsylvania Siblings: Caitlin (16) and Lauren (12) Parents: Mom (Betty) and Dad (Jack) Pets: Dogs - Mac, Murphy, and Harley Cats - Oliver and Oscar Bunny - Jellybean Guinea pig - Cupcake Turtle - Flodey We're a zoo! Tomorrow I'm going to take Ruby to swim practice so she can meet all my friends! My sister Lauren made a green and blue bracelet and a red necklace for Ruby. We're right now watching Pirates of the Caribbean. It's a very good movie so far, a lot of action, too! On Tuesday, Ruby visited my swim club (Drexel). She didn't go swimming, but had a great time anyway. On Saturday, Ruby came to one of my swim meets. See - there she is on the starting block! I will miss Ruby so much.
