The Tolar Family, Kansas City, Kansas

December 23, 2003 Ruby arrived in Kansas right before Christmas - what a surprise for Megan (age 6 1/2)! Ruby enjoyed our Lithuanian Christmas Eve traditions, but had the most fun with all of the new toys! Even twin brother Zach shared his new Hot Wheel contraption! Megan really enjoyed sharing Ruby with her friends and she was amazed to see how many places and kids she'd seen. Megan, Ruby, and sister Emily (age 4 1/2) loved dancing with Ruby! Megan got brave one day and even gave Ruby her insulin injection - big step just for her to touch the rocket! We kept Ruby a little long so Megan could take her to school on her sharing day. Ruby was a big hit - all the kids loved her. Megan chose the Christmas rocking horse pin for Ruby. Bye, Ruby! Thanks for visiting Kansas City! The Tolars
