The Frankart Family, Findlay, Ohio

November 24, 2002 During the Ohio State vs. Michigan game, I went out to get the mail, and there was a package for me. I went inside and went downstairs and opened the package. There was Rufus! We finished watching the football game, then played and went upstairs. After that, we watched cartoons and had supper. I took a shower and Rufus played with my Ruby bear. Then we went to bed. Rufus slept with me. I'm happy Rufus is here. Go Bucks! Love, Alecia Frankart November 25, 2002 Today, Rufus and I went to my new house that we are building. Rufus loves my new room. We also went to Columbus. We went furniture shopping and we went to other stores. Rufus asked to visit his friends at the Build a Bear shop, but we didn't have enough time. For supper, we had McDonald's. That night, we got home from Columbus and I took a shower and brushed my teeth. Then Rufus and I went to bed. November 26, 2002 Today, Rufus and I went to Toledo. First we both went to Libbey's glass. We had to get glass cups for a Christmas present. After that, we had to go see my endocrinologist, Dr. Delamater. When the nurse called my name, I went back with her. The nurse thought Rufus was cute. She checked my A1c and it was 6.6 Rufus' A1c was 6.4 When my doctor's appointment was over, we went to see Harry Potter. It was Rufus' first movie. Then we came back to Findlay and looked at kitchen stuff for our house. Then we ate supper, watched tv, and went to bed. Rufus slept with me, my doll, and a beanie baby Dr. Delamater gave me. December 16, 2002 We have had a busy couple of weeks with Rufus. He celebrated Thanksgiving with us. He ate too much just like the rest of us. He traveled to Michigan with us to see Alecia's best friend, Emily. Emily really liked Rufus and they made him a new friend at the Build a Bear workshop. He has been shopping with us many times in preparation for the holidays. Alecia has slept with Rufus by her side each night and he has been a great companion. She also took him to her school and introduced him to her classmates at Chamberlin Hill. We will miss Rufus and wish him well in his travels!
