The Gennaro Family, Poway, California

Rufus arrives at the Gennaro household in Poway, California. Nick, age 4, was thrilled to meet his new friend who also had diabetes. We had a lot of plans for Rufus on this long Memorial Day weekend, but sunny San Diego County experienced drizzle and light rain all weekend so Rufus hung out with us and ran errands.

When it came to Wednesday (time to say goodbye) Nick was very upset! Well, it's off to Indiana! Good bye Rufus, we love you.
