Rufus arrived at the Matherne household today. He came just in time to travel with us to Yogi Bear Camp! Rufus met Tiffani (11, diagnosed June 1999). Tiffani is pumping with a Paradigm for about six months now! Dakota (8) is Tiffani's brother. Jena (14) is Tiffani's sister. Jenny and Robert are mom and dad.

We just arrived back from Yogi Bear Park. It rained all day Saturday. Rufus and me talked about diabetes and we found out that we both hate having it!

Rufus and I are so happy because it's the weekend. No school, no tests, just being home!

Today is Sunday. I hate Sunday because we have school the next day. But I like church a lot. But tomorrow we are out. On Easter, we had an Easter egg hunt at church.

I'm sad to say, but Rufus is leaving today. I just want to tell y'all that y'all are big time Special and are treated special because you are special! Just because we have diabetes means we can't have some jobs like a paramedic. But I'm going to change that law! Bye!
