August 30, 2002
Rufus had a rough arrival! He was sent to Megan's grandmother's house by accident, and she didn't know what to make of him. Now that he is here, we are enjoying looking through all of his stuff and reading about his adventures. Tonight we are going to give him a bath. Tomorrow we are going to take him to the cottage and insert his MiniMed pump.

August 31-September 2 2002
Rufus went to the cottage with us. We went for boat rides, on our seadoos, and he watched us swim and water-ski. He had a great weekend.

September 3, 2002
Megan had her first day of grade one today. Rufus stayed at home while she adjusted.

September 6, 2002
Rufus went to the Orillia Fall Fair. He loved the rides.

September 7-8, 2002
Rufus went to our friend's cottage. He had another fun weekend of water sports.

September 9, 2002
Rufus went to school with Megan today. A reporter came to interview Megan about her insulin pump, diabetes and Rufus.

September 10, 2002
Good-bye Rufus! We will miss you!
