The Ellinwood Family, Clinton, Iowa
Rufus arrived late this afternoon! Ashley was so excited! She is reading everyone's entries and admiring all the cool key chains! He's sooo cute. Nikki isn't so sure of him though! I think he is glad to be back in the A/C; it's been really hot!
Today is Ashley's doctor appointment in Iowa City for her check up. It's a 2 hour drive so we are glad to have Rufus along! Everyone loved Rufus so much and thought this was such a great idea! I asked to see if we could put Ashley on the pump, and they feel she is too young. So I guess we will have to wait longer. Ashley found a key chain that she would like to add to Rufus!
Today we are going to Grandma's for supper! She always does so well in preparing Ashley's supper! Ashley had Rufus sitting at the table eating, too. I made sure he didn't get messy though.
The Clinton Herald stopped by to interview Ashley and Rufus. After all that was done, we decided to take Rufus to see our park and the Mississippi River.
Today we took Rufus shopping!
Ashley and Rufus are visiting her Dad's house today. They went bike riding and went for a walk. When they came back they were both really exhausted so I sent them to bed after Ashley had her bath.
Mom is really stressed out today. We haven't had any internet service for the last few days! We are getting ready to send Rufus off, so Ashley is outside showing him to all her friends before he leaves! We will miss you Rufus!
