Friends for Life Conference, Pasadena, California

July 17-21, 2002
Rufus and ten of his brother and sister bears spent a week at the CWD Friends for Life conference in Pasadena. The bears all sat together on a table in the exhibit hall - with their journals - and had lots of visitors! (Over 1,000 people came to say hello!) The Crowley family took great care watching over Rufus #8 and his family of bears. At the end of the conference, they packed up all the Rufi and sent them across the country to the Billetdeaux's in Michigan for a bit of "bear freshening up!" Here is a picture of a few of the Rufus bears in Pasadena!
