Benfotiamine and Complications

Male volunteers, 18 years of age or older, with type 1 diabetes for a research study involving the vitamin derivatives benfotiamine that may reduce complications from diabetes. Eligible participants will take study pills for up to 28 days and have blood drawn before, during, and after the study period at the General Clinical Research Center. Compensation is up to $200.

The researcher for this project is Dr. Michael Brownlee.
