New This Week

  1. We report on our Colorado 2005: Focus on the Future conference, held last week in Colorado Springs.

  2. Tricia graduates from high school and will pursue nursing and Spanish.

  3. The Quilt for Life added three panels last week, bringing the total to 404. CWD will be displaying the Quilt for Life at the 2005 Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association in San Diego from June 10-14, 2005. If you're considering making a quilt panel, please do so soon so yours can be included at the ADA conference.

  4. Summer camps for kids with diabetes that have updated information for the 2005 camping season include:

    1. Children's Diabetes Summer Camp provides a summer camping experience for kids ages 6-14 living in Louisiana.

  5. Join CWD events coordinator Laura Billetdeaux for a chat about the Friends for Life 2005 summer conference on Tuesday, May 24th at 9pm Eastern in the Friends for Life chat room.
